Herbert Böttcher
„The environment is the stage for my photographs, it challenges me to formulate in pictures what is not visible. To express these inner landscapes is my motivation as a photographer“, Herbert Böttcher.
Herbert Böttcher (1962) lives in Düsseldorf and has been a passionate professional photographer for over twenty years. Böttcher’s trademark is his unmistakable visual language – his basis is his artistic attitude to the environment.
Herbert Böttcher’s way of working is always characterised by absolute concentration, a well thought-out concept, sincere enthusiasm and a feeling for the components of time and light. As results we see works of aesthetic existence in the fields of industry, landscape, architecture, aerial photography and shipping.
From 1988 Böttcher studied visual communication in the field of photo/film design at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and graduated in 1993. From 1995 to 1999 he taught in the Department of Art at the University of Paderborn.
His cooperation partners include well-known companies and institutions from Europe and the USA.
